I’m excited to see some of my work featured on Project Wedding today!
Take a look at their gorgeous August wedding at Marin Art and Garden Center. Shepard hooks with signs touting sweet words like “…the best is yet to be” lined the walkway leading guests to the ceremony. As guests arrived they were treated to a trio of musicians, parasols and a bar featuring Minted Lemonade and Citrus Iced Tea.
The color palate for the event included various shades of blush and green, perfect for a garden wedding. Small bouquets in jars hung from shepherd hooks along the aisle and the couple exchanged their vows in front of a gorgeous flowered arch.
The bridesmaids each chose their own dress, following the guidance of a gorgeous “Maid Box” assembled by the bride herself. It included a description of the style of the wedding and color swatches to lead them to the right blush hues. The groomsmen wore complementary blush plaid ties with their grey vests and pink boutonnieres.
Paper lanterns hung over the veranda and paper pompoms adorned the outdoor bar. Guests lounged on white furniture and played corn hole, one of the couple’s favorite games. Set up outside were photos of the couple and a tribute to the groom’s father, who had passed away. Set up in front of a stone outdoor/indoor fireplace was the seating display, made up of vintage windows. The table names were some of the couple’s favorite places they had been together and each guest’s name was written across the window panes.
Guests danced inside and visited the photo booth, complete with props. They enjoyed a dessert buffet of peach and blueberry crisp, fallen chocolate soufflé and mini Bundt cakes before heading home for the night.
